Rapid Runner - Lake Of Bays Brewing Co.

Pours a foggy pale yellow colour, crowned with more than two fingers of fine, foamy white head that falls off within several minutes' time. A beautiful ring of sticky lace sticks to the glass, with a thin collar and cap remaining in place indefinitely - looks pretty good so far. Citrusy aroma of grapefruit, tangerine and orange peel, with added hints of apricot, passion fruit and piney hops.

It's a tasty little IPA: flavours of grapefruit, lemon and orange peel come through, along with hints of pineapple, apricot and passion fruit by mid-sip. Moderately bitter on the back end, with piney, resinous hops lasting through the finish and into a pithy aftertaste with hints of stone fruit. Medium-light in body, with average carbonation that adds some spritz to this brew's crisp, smooth mouthfeel. Very good drinkability - I could enjoy a couple of these in a row, especially on a warm spring evening.
