A copper colour and malty richness from a base of Munich malt is balanced by a long lagering period and noble hopes used for a touch of bittering for a cleaner finish than typical of an ale with similar colour and body. It is a little darker than most modern examples of the style, which brings it closer to what would have traditionally been enjoyed during Oktoberfest celebrations years past.
